We’re just one week away from the 2020 NFL Draft and this year will have a much different feel than previous years for multiple reasons.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced the NFL to go completely virtual for this year’s draft, giving us more of a fantasy football feel instead of an actual draft. While it will be a completely different experience for players, coaches, and front office staff, this draft should provide plenty of intrigue, being one of the deepest drafts in recent memory.
This mock draft will be straight up, not taking into account any potential trades. There are plenty that could happen but let’s just assume that, for this mock draft, teams stay put. With that said, here’s my first mock draft of 2020 and how the first round might go:
MLB Power Rankings: Post-Trade Deadline Shakeup
By Craig Campbell
The trade deadline has been in the rear view mirror for a few weeks now and the playoff picture is still a bit unclear, but taking shape. The Mets have been on a surprising hot streak since the trade deadline, going 16-4 over their last 20 games and 21-9 over their last 30 games and have moved themselves within striking distance of the second wild card spot in the National League. While they are the biggest gainer of this Power Rankings, moving up six spots, the defending champion Boston Red Sox are the winners of the biggest slide, dropping seven spots. The Red Sox have lost twelve of their last twenty games, falling over 15 games back in the East along with slowly falling to over seven games out of the second wild card spot in the American League and they are in serious jeopardy of missing the postseason.
The Houston Astros take over the number one spot after winning at the trade deadline, making multiple moves capped off with a blockbuster trade of acquiring starting pitcher Zack Grienke from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Vegas dubbed them the new odd-on favorite to win the World Series and it’s hard to argue with all of the firepower they have in their rotation.
With three of the six divisions virtually locked up by 10 games or more, the AL Central, NL Central, and NL East are all up for grabs. There’s just over one month left in the regular season and the race for the playoffs is about to hit the homestretch.

MLB Trade Deadline 2019: Top 15 Trade Deadline Candidates and Potential Destinations
by Rod Nunez
July 26, 2019
The Major League Baseball's Trade Deadline is less than one week away. Meaning all trade activity will cease after July 31, including waiver-wire moves.
That means we are about to see plenty of handshaking and hugs in the dugout, as well as players being a last minute scratch from games in this upcoming week.
Next, we have ranked our top 15 players likely to be traded or at least heavily discussed this week with their potential destinations, according to rumors gathered by different sources.
MLB Power Rankings: The Race for the Playoffs Begins
By Craig Campbell
July 24, 2019
All-Star Weekend has come and gone and the second half of the season is underway. The top teams are basically unchanged but still jockeying with one another for playoff position. Some teams have come out red hot (Cardinals, Giants, Indians) and are making their push for the postseason while other teams have either lost their positioning or are seeing their playoff hopes vanish altogether (Brewers, Rangers, Rays).
This week’s biggest gainer is easily the St. Louis Cardinals, whom have been absolutely on fire since the All-Star Break, jumping seven spots this week and find themselves just outside the Top-10. This week’s biggest slide belongs to the Texas Rangers, sliding down six spots.
Already through the two weeks since the Break and we’ve seen some major moves by teams to position themselves in the Wild Card race. This is about to be a very intense second half of baseball.

First half of the season is in the books with plenty of storylines, surprises and disappointments.
Ahead we've highlighted our midseason awards, biggest surprises and disappointments so far this season. There's still another half a season left, so a lot can change between now and the end of the season.
MLB Power Rankings: First Half Complete
By Craig Campbell
July 9, 2019
We’re just over the halfway point into the MLB season and All-Star Weekend is here. It should be no surprise that some of the teams we expected are in the Top-10, but their journeys haven’t all been smooth to this point. The Indians, Red Sox, and Nationals were all expected in the preseason to be in contention for their respective divisions but really struggled out of the gate and have had to fight their way back into the playoff race. Other teams, such as the Rangers are surprising contenders for a Wild Card spot.
This week’s biggest slide is a three team tie between the Rockies, Cardinals, and Mariners, all dropping four spots. The biggest gainer is the Washington Nationals, jumping nine spots and cracking the top 10 for the first time.

June 27, 2019
It's been a couple of interesting weeks around MLB. Hot streaks and slumps have shaken our Power Rankings and now we have a new number one.
The Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers and Indians have been red hot recently, while the Astros and Rays endured a brief skid, altering our rankings and creating a fascinating race.

We are just hours away from the 2019 NBA Draft and we’re already seeing picks being moved, teams reshaping their rosters, and rumors flying. After that, anything can (and probably will) happen.
The 2019 NBA Draft airs tonight at 7pm from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Here are our picks for the 1st Round of the 2019 NBA Draft:

MLB Power Rankings: FinalScores FIRST EVER
June 12, 2019
FinalScore’s FIRST EVER MLB Power Rankings are here! Every week, our contributors will bring you their thoughts on the best teams in Major League Baseball.
Just over one-third of the season is in the books, there have been three clear-cut best teams in MLB: Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Minnesota Twins.
One could reasonably put these 3 teams in any order and to give you an idea of how good these teams have been over the past month or so and how little separation there is between them: Over the past 30 games, the Astros are 23-7, and the Twins & Dodgers are 21-9 each.
There’s still a lot of season ahead and division races are just starting to heat up. Here is how the team sees the MLB this week from top to bottom. To rank every team from top to bottom, here are most of the factors that will be taken into account: Overall record, current W/L streaks, last 10 games, and run differential.
WAY-TOO-EARLY COLLEGE FOOTBALL TOP-25
June 10th, 2019
Spring practices are in the books and we just a few short months away from kicking off the 2019 college football season on Saturday, August 24th. This season will surely bring its fair share of excitement and of course it’s never too early to look into the future and start thinking about how your favorite college program will fare this season. Everyone is in agreement who the top two college teams are again this season (Clemson & Alabama, depending on who you root for) and the rest of the top 25 gets intriguing from there.
Each team begins the season with championship aspirations, looking to make their way to the national championship game on Jan. 13, this year in New Orleans, La., in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Here are my “way too early” picks for the college football top-25.
